ZDHHC21

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC21 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZDHHC21 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ZDHHC21 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where ZDHHC21 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
