Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC21 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ZDHHC21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where ZDHHC21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
