Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZC3H7B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZC3H7B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZC3H7B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZC3H7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where ZC3H7B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
