Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZC3H12D RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZC3H12D data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZC3H12D RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZC3H12D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and LUAD are the cancer types where ZC3H12D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
