Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZC3H12A mass-spec protein differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ZC3H12A’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where ZC3H12A mass-spec protein is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ZC3H12A is over-expressed in tumor.

LUAD, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where ZC3H12A tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
