Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZC3H11A RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZC3H11A data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ZC3H11A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZC3H11A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and GBM show a favorable association.
ACC, UVM, and KIRP are the cancer types where ZC3H11A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
