Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB7A RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZBTB7A data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ZBTB7A RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and KIRC show a favorable association.

STAD, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ZBTB7A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
