Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB7A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBTB7A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher ZBTB7A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PDAC and CCRCC are the cancer types where ZBTB7A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
