Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZBTB43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZBTB43 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ZBTB43 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZBTB43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where ZBTB43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
