Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YWHAZP4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of YWHAZP4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where YWHAZP4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types YWHAZP4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, HNSC, and LUSC are the cancer types where YWHAZP4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
