Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YWHAB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YWHAB data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher YWHAB Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YWHAB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and PRAD are the cancer types where YWHAB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
