Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YWHAB mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YWHAB data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher YWHAB mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YWHAB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where YWHAB mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
