Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, YAE1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated YAE1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher YAE1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated YAE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and COAD are the cancer types where YAE1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
