Across TCGA patient cohorts, XYLB protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,623 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible XYLB-associated genes across cancer lineages are VGLL4, ZNF619, and DHRS4-AS1. Each is linked with XYLB in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both XYLB-to-partner and partner-to-XYLB results are reported.
