Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XPA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XPA data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher XPA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XPA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where XPA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
