Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XIRP2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated XIRP2-AS1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher XIRP2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XIRP2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and ESCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, KIRC, and THYM are the cancer types where XIRP2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
