Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XAGE5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XAGE5 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher XAGE5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XAGE5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and BLCA are the cancer types where XAGE5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
