Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, XAGE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated XAGE2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher XAGE2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated XAGE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC are the cancer types where XAGE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
