Across TCGA patient cohorts, WTAP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,720 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible WTAP-associated genes across cancer lineages are NCAPD2, TTK, and CENPF. Each is linked with WTAP in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both WTAP-to-partner and partner-to-WTAP results are reported.
