Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WNT8A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WNT8A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher WNT8A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WNT8A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC and HNSC are the cancer types where WNT8A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
