Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WNT7A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WNT7A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher WNT7A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WNT7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.
UCEC and OV are the cancer types where WNT7A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
