Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WNT5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WNT5A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher WNT5A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WNT5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, STAD, and SARC are the cancer types where WNT5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
