Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WNT10B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of WNT10B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where WNT10B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types WNT10B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BLCA, THCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where WNT10B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
