Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WNK1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WNK1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher WNK1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WNK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

COAD, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where WNK1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
