Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WHSC1L2P RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WHSC1L2P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher WHSC1L2P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WHSC1L2P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and LUSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, KIRP, and CHOL are the cancer types where WHSC1L2P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
