Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WFIKKN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WFIKKN1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher WFIKKN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WFIKKN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, SKCM, and ESCA are the cancer types where WFIKKN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
