Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR59 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR59 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher WDR59 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR59 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where WDR59 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
