Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR55 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR55 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher WDR55 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR55 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, LUSC, and HNSC are the cancer types where WDR55 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
