WDR55

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR55 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of WDR55’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where WDR55 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types WDR55 is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRC, BLCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where WDR55 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
