Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR45B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR45B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher WDR45B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR45B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where WDR45B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
