Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR45B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR45B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher WDR45B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR45B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where WDR45B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
