Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR36 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR36 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher WDR36 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR36 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

BLCA, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where WDR36 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
