Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WDR1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WDR1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher WDR1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WDR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where WDR1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
