Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WBP2NL RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WBP2NL data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher WBP2NL RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WBP2NL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and LUAD show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where WBP2NL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
