Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WBP1LP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WBP1LP1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher WBP1LP1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WBP1LP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ESCA show a favorable association.
TGCT, READ, and LIHC are the cancer types where WBP1LP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
