Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WASHC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WASHC1 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher WASHC1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WASHC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUAD show a favorable association.

COAD, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where WASHC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
