Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WAC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated WAC data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher WAC Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WAC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where WAC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
