Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, WAC-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated WAC-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher WAC-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated WAC-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LGG show a favorable association.

LIHC, ACC, and SKCM are the cancer types where WAC-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
