Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VTRNA2-1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VTRNA2-1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher VTRNA2-1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VTRNA2-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THCA, CHOL, and SKCM are the cancer types where VTRNA2-1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
