Across TCGA patient cohorts, VSX2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VSX2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTHFD2P1, ITM2C, and HMGA1. Each is linked with VSX2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VSX2-to-partner and partner-to-VSX2 results are reported.
