Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VSX2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated VSX2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher VSX2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VSX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and DLBC show a favorable association.

STAD, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where VSX2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
