Across TCGA patient cohorts, VSTM2L protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,053 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible VSTM2L-associated genes across cancer lineages are PPL, LYZL4, and CST6. Each is linked with VSTM2L in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VSTM2L-to-partner and partner-to-VSTM2L results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, VSTM2L versus PPL in PDAC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.69.
