Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VSTM2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VSTM2B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher VSTM2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VSTM2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, CESC, and ESCA are the cancer types where VSTM2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
