VRTN

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, VRTN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,312 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VRTN-associated genes across cancer lineages are EFHD1, LRRC43, and FCER1A. Each is linked with VRTN in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VRTN-to-partner and partner-to-VRTN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, EFHD1 grouped by VRTN-low versus VRTN-high in COAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (VRTN→partner) and Y-score (partner→VRTN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
