Across TCGA patient cohorts, VPS53 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 28 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VPS53-associated genes across cancer lineages are EGFR_pY1068, MSH6, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with VPS53 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VPS53-to-partner and partner-to-VPS53 results are reported.
