Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VPS51 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VPS51 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher VPS51 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VPS51 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where VPS51 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
