Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VPS35 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VPS35 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher VPS35 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VPS35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, ESCA, and ACC are the cancer types where VPS35 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
