Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VPS26B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VPS26B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher VPS26B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VPS26B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where VPS26B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
