Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, VNN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated VNN1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher VNN1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated VNN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and SCLC show a favorable association.
OV, LUSC, and GBM are the cancer types where VNN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
