Across TCGA patient cohorts, VMO1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,249 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible VMO1-associated genes across cancer lineages are BDKRB2, LINC01058, and BDKRB1. Each is linked with VMO1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both VMO1-to-partner and partner-to-VMO1 results are reported.
